PROFILE:
Kirsty Stevenson
Solar Engineer, Solar Century
Career Profile:
Undergraduate degree in electronic engineering and Masters in Renewable Energy
System Technologies at University of Loughborough, sponsored by BP Solar.
“My job is very varied, with a mixture of office and site work.
Raising awareness is a large part of Solar Century’s mission and this
applies to planners and utility companies, as well as the general public.
“Through working with businesses, I interact with many different departments,
from energy and facilities managers to marketing departments, and I hope that
I am contributing to bringing Photo Voltaics into the mainstream, so that
one day a building without it will be an oddity.”
